Two new international schools to be built in Zagreb.
The Eurocampus project is a joint project between the Ecole Française and the German International School in Zagreb, with the goal of creating a school that German, French and Croatian children alike can attend, for the benefit of all. After several attempts at kick-starting the project, we were commissioned with drawing up a so-called “plan B” on a site that had not been determined yet. On a net area of approximately 6,500 sqm, a school campus is to be built that will do justice to the high standards of modern-day school life on the one hand and the excellent properties of wood as a material on the other, in particular with regard to short building times. The drawings show the Eurocampus as a small model city for children aged from 3 to 18. Designated classrooms in conjunction with open, generously spaced event areas promote concentration and communication. A linear city layout allows for adjustments and expansion.
